Kinderbuch: Curls and Counting

Liebe Freunde und Unterstützer,

Wir, sind super aufgeregt, euch unser Herzensprojekt vorzstellen: "Curls and Counting". Das Kinderbuch nimmt uns mit auf eine Reise, auf der nicht nur das Zählen erlernt wird, sondern die jungen Leser auch die Vielseitigkeit und Schönheit ihrer eigenen Haare entdecken.

Die Idee, ist Kindern anhand von unterschiedlichen curly Hairstyles (von Afro über Twsits oder Cornrows) das Zählen beizubringen und gleichzeitig ihre Selbstakzeptanz zu stärken. Aus eigener Erfahrung wissen wir wie wichtig es ist, Kindern positive Botschaften zu vermitteln, die ihnen helfen, ihre Einzigartigkeit zu schätzen und sich selbst zu lieben. Das ist genau was wir mit "curls and couting" machen wollen!

Kiala Kanzi (Autorin):

Motiviert durch eigene Erfahrung und die Haarpracht ihrer Tochter schreibt Kiala Kanzi einfache Verse die spielerisch das Zählen anhand von Haarstyles beibringen.

"Dieses Buch ist meine Art, Liebe und Selbstbewusstsein an meine Tochter Neptune und an Kids weltweit weiterzugeben. Ich selbst hätte mir in meiner Kindheit ein solches Buch gewünscht!
