As some of you are aware Jason Curle has had a trying year. In early 2016 Jason’s wife, Brittney, gave birth to their youngest son, Matthew, several months before he was due. This entire last year baby Matthew has spent almost all of his days in the NICU at CHKD. In the past few days it has been concluded by the doctors that the Curle family needs to start making final preparations. We would like to help take some of the burden off of the family during this process. We are collecting donations to present to Jason to assist with the interment expenses. If you would like to donate please do so on this page.
Update 5/8/17 (as written by Brittney and Jason):
Matthew Herrin Curle, 14 months, of Windsor, VA, was placed into the arms of the Lord on May 5, 2017. Matthew was born on February 22, 2016 to his blessed parents, Jason Wayne & Brittney Warren Curle. He entered the world as a "feisty" blue-eyed, 1lb 5oz baby. His favorite things included anything with Mickey Mouse and toys that rattle. Matthew's smile would light up any dim room. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Nathan Charles Curle; Grandmothers, Robin Wills, Barbara Warren, & Janice Tomlin; Great-Grandmothers & Grandfather; Great-Great Grandmother; Aunts & Uncles; Many cousins, extended family, and friends. Preceded by Grandfathers, Charles Warren & Alvah Wills.
The family would like to personally thank all the staff and volunteers at the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters who cared for Matthew throughout his life. You all touched our lives in many ways and we are forever grateful for the love you gave to our son.
