Want to donate bone marrow?
We are raising money for cancer treatment and related travel expenses for Karen a 54 year old mother of 2. Right before Christmas, she was diagnosed with MDS, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, a rare cancer involving break down of the bone marrow and poor production of red blood cells increasing the need for blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and ultimately a bone marrow transplant. Increased vulnerability to sickness, infections and several weekly appointments including travel have caused time off work and financial hardships. Karen is normally extremely hardworking, fun-loving and enjoys quality time with her loved ones especially her kids and 2 grandsons.
