On Tuesday, January 10th, one of my dearest friends, Cristal, found out she was in for a battle against breast cancer. Her diagnosis of Invasive Carcinoma is going to require 2 surgeries, many doctor appointments, a barrage of tests, and a lot of perseverance. Cristal’s first surgery is being scheduled within the next week or two (multiple doctors have to coordinate schedules).

If you know Cristal, you know that she would never ask for help for herself, and yet she is always the first to step up and help anyone in need. She is the most positive person I have ever met and has an ARMY of friends because of the giving, loving, caring, loyal, and devoted person that she is. Well now, it’s her turn to receive some help to fight this battle.

First, we ask for prayers of comfort, healing, faith, positive vibes, and wisdom for her doctors and nurses. After that, we are asking for financial donations if you’re able to help in that way. The donations would provide much needed help to cover the upcoming cost of surgeries, medical expenses and time away from work that will be involved in her recovery. Imagine being hit with all these costs at a time when you are worried, scared, and vulnerable. A time when all you should be doing is focusing on your health versus worrying about bills.
