In November 2021, Corrin was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, later discovering she had Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that significantly increases the risk of developing multiple cancers and complicates treatment. Given the severity of these diagnoses, Corrin has embraced an integrative approach to her health, combining conventional treatments with lifestyle changes and holistic therapies. Over the past three years, her commitment to this holistic approach has not only helped her endure but also thrive through the challenges of conventional treatments.

At the time of her diagnosis, Corrin’s youngest child was only five months old. She reduced her hours as a speech therapist to prioritize her health and family. Since then, her journey has included chemotherapy, surgeries, multiple recurrences, and, more recently, metastasis. With disease progression, she intensified her focus on alternative treatments and experienced significant improvement following a 21-day intensive program in Mexico. Afterward, she began a new chemotherapy regimen, which, thankfully, is showing positive results.

Still, Corrin faces a long and uncertain road to healing.

Alongside her personal health journey, Corrin has dedicated the past year to completing an extensive educational program to become a health advocate. This training enables her to support not only her own healing process but also others in improving their health, preventing disease, and navigating challenging health conditions. She is passionate about understanding root causes and helping others on their own journeys.

Already, she has mentored several women with breast cancer, guiding them in making meaningful lifestyle changes that support their efforts to overcome the disease. Corrin’s greatest desire is to rise above her diagnosis and actively support others who are facing similar struggles.

As Corrin requires both conventional and holistic treatments, the financial impact is growing. Holistic therapies, essential to her healing, are costly and not covered by insurance.
