Claude is a 36 year old father and husband who
was recently diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic lung cancer.  We have been married for 10 years and have a 7 year old son.

 He was diagnosed September 14, 2019 and has not had an easy road. He had back surgery in September to remove the cancerous mass followed by blood clots and then a wound infection. He had to have another surgery completed because of a wound infection.   He completed radiation to his back and brain, but has only had 1 Chemotherapy treatment due to the infection. They have recently found additional disease on his hips and lumbar spine. He will be starting radiation again next week. 
Claude was in a rehabilitation center over Christmas because he lost feeling in both legs from his groin to his knees. He was able to come home 12/31/19 in a wheelchair. At this point he is unable to walk.
Family and friends have already helped tremendously by doing fundraisers and building him a ramp. 

We will need to complete some home renovations to the bathroom so he is able to get the wheelchair through.  Also with it being the beginning of the year he will have an insurance deductible.
