Cupp Family Benefit

Two weeks ago a close friend of ours, Chris Cupp was diagnosed with a stage 4 gastrointestinal stromal tumor. It has spread to his liver, lungs, and lymph nodes. Chris is in severe pain, but is ready to fight this! Chris was born in Pennsylvania in May of 1982, and that makes him 38 years old.  Chris was working in Colorado where he met our dear friend Chelsea Ursery, daughter of Randy and Gina Ursery of Union City, TN.  They fell in love and moved back home to Union City to raise their family. They have a beautiful little girl named Finley and a chunk of a boy named Leo. 4 and 1.  Chris works for Ford Construction and Chelsea teaches school at Union City elementary.  It is always a blessing when families return to their home to raise a family and build a life. But, as we all know life can throw things at us, just as sometimes we start to build our lives. So now, as Chris and his family start this battle, may we come together and provide them with the “ammunition” to fight this. Chris is trying to get into MD Anderson in Texas to receive the best treatment in the country. As they battle this cancer let’s make sure that money is the least of their worries.  Shall we now stand together in our home town to make sure this beautiful family has their needs met to FIGHT!
