Cupid, my fur baby is in critical condition due to being hit by a car. The car did not stop and he was left for dead on the road. Luckily a good samaritan had compassion seeing him on the ground, picked him up and took him to an emergency vet clinic close by. They examined him and told me he needed to be transferred elsewhere for further evaluation. Upon arriving to the VCA in Fountain Valley, I was told it would cost 4,000$ in the beginning just for them to turn around and tell me it would cost 10,000$. As if that wasn’t bad enough and without any compassion they offered to put him down since I couldn’t pay that amount upfront. I couldn’t leave him in that clinic so I asked them to transport him to Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital to get another evaluation. He has bruised lungs and that is causing him to have trouble breathing. He is currently being kept in an intensive care unit and being monitored every hour. He has a great team that is doing everything possible to save his life. I have exhausted using all funds available and am kindly asking for donations to help with the costs to give Cupid a fighting chance. A donation or even a share to spread the word is greatly appreciated. The goal is to do whatever it takes to give him a fighting chance so he can get back to being that spunky and playful dog that he is. Thank you again you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution. Anything will help.
