My family and I have recently been affected my hurricane Maria. The aftermath has left us without water, electricity, and unemployment. We have a 8 year old and 1 year old who have been affected by this event. My husband main source of business was providing agricultural to local business which was destroyed by the hurricane. We haven't been able to return to our home forcing us to stay with family. Provisions have been limited through the island which making lines for gas, bottles water, and groceries make it a daily thing. Any donation counts at this point to access basic needs quicker versus via mail that may take up to weeks. These donations will also assist with new begins for agricultural which can take up a year to see results. Agriculture is key to providing food to local establishments plus residents. A way to rebuild PR.
