It has been 10 years since Nigel Dawson passed away, and to mark the occasion in a positive way, as a family we are organising a fund raising day at Millom Cricket on Bank Holiday Sunday 28th May, commencing at 11.00am. This will consist of a cricket tournament featuring a team full of the legends of yesteryear, children’s activities, other fund raising initiatives, and finishing with evening entertainment. With 2 of his big passions in life being Millom Cricket Club and his many years of service to the U11s Cumbria Cricket teams, we are raising funds to be divided between Millom Cricket Club Junior Section and The Cumbria Cricket Opportunities Fund. This fund offers all children selected to represent the county the opportunity to participate in cricketing experiences offered by Cumbria Cricket.

This page has been created for those who are unable to attend the day, but would like to contribute towards the two funds, in his memory.
