Cumbernauld Swimming Club Fundraiser

Myself, Patsy Skelton And a number of our parents and kids (48 of us) are doing the Cumbernauld Christmas Cracker 5k - please support us with your donations............


Cumbernauld swimming club has over 120 members and been part of the community for over 55 years producing successful confident young people in our local community who have succeeded both in and outside of the pool.

In June 2020 a team of 32 swimmers aged between 10 & 18 years are heading to Torremolinos for a training camp.

This is a great opportunity for our older swimmers to prepare for The Scottish Summer Meet with a few also hoping to reach The British Championships, our younger swimmers will be training towards West District Championships and experience for the first time the opportunity to travel and train overseas and helping all the swimmers to become the very best they can.

This obviously comes at an expense and we would like to ask for your support.

Would you be able to assist in any way?

A one-off donation – Any amount however small will help us to reduce the cost of the trip. It is costing each swimmer £1000 to go on this trip for every £3000 we raise will reduce this by £100 per child. Every amount however small all adds up and would be greatly appreciated.

All local business if you can help too with any prizes and or donations – We will be holding family fun nights, Christmas fundraisers and many other events and any donations of Vouchers, Bottles, gifts can be used to help us sell tickets. Please contact us via our Facebook Page

The funds will be withdrawn by  me Andy paid into the bank account of the Cumbernauld Swimming Club, where the entire amount will be used to offset the total cost of the trip.  This should assist the costs to be reduced by all swimmers.
