Cumberland Minors go to World Series!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Carrie and I am the Baseball Commissioner for Cumberland Recreation. We are an entity of local county government recreation sports. The Cumberland Minors baseball team has accomplished a monumental occasion and have clinched the first ever Dixie Youth Baseball State Championship in the history of our baseball program!!! This team clinched an undefeated regular season, an undefeated district tournament, and an undefeated state tournament title!
Many of these kids have been together playing ball since they were 4 years old in our t-ball program. These boys and girl have worked so hard for this. They’ve held car washes to help fund their trip to states and offset costs. But as we know, with the increase in prices everywhere, it is a challenge to travel far and even travel outside of the state.
The Dixie Youth Baseball AAA, Division 2 World Series will be taking place in Anderson, South Carolina from July 28-August 3.
We, as a baseball program, are asking for any and all help with sending our boys and girl to the World Series and help offset costs for the team and families of the players. We’ve calculated that it is roughly $1,000 per player to get them to/from the tournament and pay for lodging. The last thing we want our players to think about is funding and we need your support!
Help us send our 2022 Cumberland Minors State Champions to the World Series!!!!
If you cannot donate monetarily, we ask that you lift our team up in prayers and good vibes!!
Thank you!!!
