Hi everyone, this is Brieanna! I’m incredibly excited and honored to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to attend and present research at the XXVIII International Congress of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) in July 2026, taking place in the beautiful city of Leuven, Belgium.

I am a student at California State University, Fresno and a member of the Human Development & Culture Research Lab, where we explore how culture, environment, and social contexts shape human development. Being selected to present our work on an international stage is not only a huge milestone for our lab, but also a deeply meaningful moment in my personal academic journey.

This conference brings together scholars and researchers from all over the world who are passionate about understanding people across cultures. Attending would allow me to share our research globally, learn from leading experts in the field, gain valuable feedback, and build connections that will shape my future in both academics and my career.

However, traveling internationally comes with significant costs. I am currently seeking support to help cover expenses such as airfare, lodging, conference registration, transportation, and other basic travel needs. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would truly make a difference and help me take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
