Cultural Caravan Mobile Concerts

Cultural Caravan is a new mobile concert series started by Joshua Halpern, a renowned cellist and graduate of Rice University and the Curtis Institute of Music.
In 2018, Mr. Halpern curated a solo tour across Colorado to bring classical music to unexpected places, including the state penitentiary, saloons, and bicycle shops. Since then he has continued seeking opportunities to bring music to unfamiliar venues around the country, fostering connection and conversation with different groups of people along the way.
Cultural Caravan is an organization that provides top quality, professional live music in a variety of safe settings by using a mobile stage. From the back of a flatbed or large pickup truck, concerts can be put on with unprecedented speed, ease, and safety.
The organization is launching its first concerts on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Longmont and Boulder, Colorado.
Concert times on December 6 are as follows:
12PM: Maker General
381 Main St, Longmont, CO 80501
2PM: Dakota Ridge Neighborhood Field
Pierre St. and Dakota Blvd, Boulder CO 80304
3:30PM: Pearl Street Mall
Pearl Street, Boulder CO 80302
These concerts feature Joshua Halpern on cello, Lauren Spaulding on viola, and Tom Yaron on violin who will share works by Beethoven, Dohnanyi, Bach, and more!
Your donation would enable Cultural Caravan to continue putting on more performances in the near future, and in turn employ the area's best musicians and artists who can't practice their usual craft during these times.
