On the night of Saturday, November 5th, a local small business, The Perks of Norfolk, was robbed.

Their front door is smashed and needs to be replaced. They lost their cash register and four iPads. They now to have close their doors until they get everything back in order, also losing several days' worth of revenue, wages, and inventory. Estimated damages are $10,000.

Husband and wife duo Steve and Mellissa Johnson started The Perks of Norfolk in November of 2018. They are well known for their homemade goods, breakfast, lunch, coffee, and above all, their friendly staff and service.
