Laura's Ministry in Malawi

My name is Laura Bagwell and in May I will be graduating from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I spent the first 14 years of my life living in Africa (Cameroon, Chad, and Kenya) with my parents who are missionaries. God has definitely put Africa and its people in my heart, and one day I hope to serve as a long-term missionary in Africa.
This past summer I had the amazing opportunity to spend 3 weeks working with the Passion Center for Children in Zomba, Malawi. God taught me so much through the ministry and time spent there. It was wonderful getting to know and serve the children and the people of the surrounding villages and working directly with the Community Health Network who partners with the Passion Center. I fell in love with Malawi and her people, which made it very hard for me to leave.
I am excited to announce that I will be going back to Zomba, Malawi to work at the Passion Center again. The tentative dates for my trip are July 5 through September 5, 2016. My time there will be spent with the children and their communities, working with the Community Health Network, and serving the Passion Center in whatever way is needed. This time I will be living on the center close to the children.
The money I am trying to raise will go towards the costs of my trip, which include airfare and room and board while in Malawi. Your decision to contribute to this ministry opportunity will make it possible and will be such a blessing. Thank you for your prayers and support!
