Over the past few months of the COVID-19 crisis we have been shown incredible levels of heroism from our NHS frontline staff who went out to fight this deadly virus whilst the vast majority of us were told to stay at home. 

It's hard to imagine the mental and physical distress caused by the long hours, unknown dangers, concerns about PPE and of course having to watch people die with no family around them, feeling helpless. 

Being an NHS worker in any capacity is a vocational role, people take on these roles because they care immensely about the well being of the community. When you give everything you have to help someone, but you are eventually unsuccessful, it must be utterly be crushing. 

Gareth Potts and Mark Selby are long-time friends and brothers-in-law.  Gareth and Mark have more than just family ties though as they have both won multiple world titles in their respective cue-sport disciplines. 

Sadly, over the course of the Pandemic both of these players have lost people they know to the disease, and both have friends who work in the NHS. They have heard some of the harrowing stories first hand and wanted to try to do something to help show our gratitude for their service. 

Mark and Gareth have brought together a collection of prizes that they hope you will bid for. 100% of the money raised will go to the NHS staff who have risked their lives to care for all of us.
