Build Africa's First Multi-Discipline Cue Sports Centre

22 cue sports tables are in a hotel in Nakuru, Kenya.
The space is almost ready. Almost ready to play!
But in October 2025, the project's largest financier, Peter Kinyua's father Fred, died.
Now we need help! - https://cueforlife.org/
The Cue for Life Centre is considered to be the first centre in Africa to bring five disciplines under one roof:
- English Pool
- American Pool
- Heyball
- Snooker
- Russian Pyramid
Not just a billiard hall. It's a talent academy, a junior programme, an employment centre for the local community and much more! Peter Kinyua has cherished the dream of a centre like this for years, and Date van Leeuwen has worked as a pool billiards technician for 25+ years. Together they have kept this alive since Fred's death. 6 months of rent paid on an unfinished space, $84,000 already invested. We need $14,000 to open the doors, and $90,000 to finish the full build.
Help us finish what we started!
How the money is spent:
The full build is $90,000. We are raising it in stages. Phase 1 is $14,000 and opens the doors: licences, rent, toilets, lighting, cues and balls, floor, snooker room. Once open, the centre earns its keep while the rest follows: bar and kitchen, sound and screens for tournaments and community events, signage, cue shop.
Where the money goes:
Donations are received by Stichting Cue For Life (KvK 42026242), a registered Dutch foundation, and transferred to the build team in Kenya via Wise. Every transfer is documented.
