Cuddle Cot in memory of my nephew Lucas

My Nephew James Lucas Roche was born 8/25/2020 @ 4:14 am Stillborn but still born.   Stillborn affects 1 in 100 pregnancies each year in the United States; this is about 1 percent of all pregnancies and about 24,000 babies.   Before this happened to my family I wasn’t aware of these numbers or how it affects families. We are thankful that there were volunteers that came to the hospital and helped my sister and her husband spend precious time with Lucas and told them about a cuddle cut that allowed Lucas to stay in the room with my sister until she was discharged from the hospital. The cuddle cot keeps the baby’s body cool and preserves it for a few days.   I reached out to Erlanger and was told they only have 1 of these but could use a couple more. This breaks my heart that this is even needed but I know how special is it to give a grieving Mom and Dad the gift of more time with their baby. So if you can help us donate one in memory of Lucas that would be great, also remember my sister and brother in law in your prayers as tomorrow is Lucas’s due date.
