Cuddle cot in memory of Avery

December 14, 2021, I went in to labor at 36 weeks. The day before, we had a perfect doctors appointment, healthy mom/healthy baby. When we got to the hospital, we ended up with a crash c section, and sweet baby Avery Raeann was put on a ventilator. Despite the hospitals best efforts, She passed away on December 15, 2021, at 1 day old.

That’s when we were introduced to CuddleCots. They are a bassinet with a cooling system built in, to help slow the changes in baby’s body. This gives the family more time with their lost little, and can buy more time for family to come say goodbye.

For Avery’s 1st birthday on December 14 2022, we want to raise money to buy a cuddle cot for the hospital we delivered at. (The week we birthed/lost Avery, other babies also passed in that hospital. It isn’t a high risk labor/delivery hospital. Every family should get to spend as much as one with their lost little as they need.
