Mi esposo, Alejandro Mendoza, fue detenido el 11 de febrero por agentes de ICE mientras se encontraba trabajando.

Somos una familia venezolana que llegó a Estados Unidos hace más de 10 años en busca de protección y seguridad.

En junio de 2025, Alejandro asistió a su entrevista de asilo, la cual quedó pendiente de respuesta. Confiábamos en que pronto recibiríamos buenas noticias, pero hoy enfrentamos esta difícil situación.

Su detención generara gastos legales significativos, incluyendo honorarios de abogados y posibles fianzas, además de los gastos básicos del hogar. En este momento, sola no puedo asumir todas estas responsabilidades económicas, y al mismo tiempo necesito mantenerme fuerte y presente para nuestro hijo.

Cualquier ayuda es una bendición para nosotros. Ya sea con sus oraciones, compartiendo esta campaña o con una contribución económica, todo suma y lo recibimos con profunda gratitud.

My husband, Alejandro Mendoza, was detained by ICE agents on February 11 while he was at work.

We are a Venezuelan family who came to the United States over 10 years ago seeking protection and safety after Alejandro, because of his work as a journalist in Venezuela, received threats that put our lives at risk.

In June 2025, Alejandro attended his asylum interview, which is still pending a response. We were hopeful for good news, but today we are facing this very difficult situation.

His detention will create significant legal expenses, including attorney fees and possible bond costs, in addition to our basic household expenses. At this time, I cannot carry all of these financial responsibilities alone, while also trying to stay strong and present for our child.
