Hello, my name is Deborah Jasso. Many of you know me as Debbie; Band Director, singer/song writer, family and friend. It saddens me to say that all of this has come to an end for me. My life long passion has always been to bring music and life to the lives of my students. I have come to a point in my life where I feel the best thing to do is retire. I have some significant news about my health. I'm experiencing progressive vision loss, which means I will eventually be 100% blind. I am completely blind on my left eye and extremely poor peripheral vision on my right eye. I am no longer able to distinguish shapes, sizes or faces. Since my recent choice to retire will be a long process that includes retirement through school district and TRS, I will no longer receive my salary. Im on the verge of not only losing my eyesight, but losing everything that I worked my entire life for. I humbly ask for any contributions that you can help me with during these difficult times.
