Christopher’s memorial fund

My name is Janet and I am raising money to help with my grandsons funeral and other expenses.  I hope to take some of the burden off my daughter and her husband at this most difficult time in their lives. He did not have any life insurance because nobody plans to bury their 24 year old son.

The families goal is that Christopher's death will bring awareness to both drivers and bicyclist sharing the road safely, to keep any other family from suffering like we are now. 

Christopher had just graduated from Cal State San Bernardino and was starting a job at the County of Riverside Health Department. He loved nature, all animals, helping others, and health & wellness.  He volunteered at his church since he was a young child to help those in need.   He was an avid cyclist since 2013, and felt strongly about wearing the proper gear while riding. 

He is survived by his father and mother (Carlos & Kristina), brother (Jonathan), sister and brother in-law (Ashley & Zach), grandparents (Sal, Janet & Joe), great grandmother (Maria), many cousins, and his girlfriend (Jessica) of 7 years. 

It is amazing that the very last picture of him (shown above), taken two days before his death, was of him wearing his favorite beanie and church shirt
