CU Mock Trial Fundraising for ORCS
The University of Colorado Mock Trial team was founded in 2006 to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the work of trial attorneys, better understand the judicial system, develop critical thinking skills, and enhance communication and public speaking ability through participation in mock trials sponsored by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA).
This year the CU Mock Trail Team won a bid to the Opening Round Championship Competition for the first time in 6 years. We are exctatic however, our University will not provide us any more funding.
Therefore, we are setting a goal of raising $3,000 to pay for Hotels, Airfare, and Rental Cars for the Geneva, Illinois ORCS competition.
If we do not fundraise enough to cover the expenses, we will not be able to compete in the competition.
It would mean the world to our organization if you would pitch in, and help us make it to the tournament this year.
