My dad, Eric, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that unfortunately metastasized to his liver, lungs, and lymph nodes by the time it was discovered. The doctors have high hopes for his recovery, but treatment is expensive, insurance is limited and his ability to work is diminished during this fight.

My dad has always been a blue collar, hardworking man. He has a kind soul and always taught me to love everyone and understand that everyone is different. He always helps anyone he can, but he isn’t one to ask for help for himself. He always says everyone has their own struggles. That’s just the kind of person he is.

My dad has been a single dad my whole life. He has sacrificed everything for me to be happy and stable. He always makes sure I have everything I need and supports me emotionally, mentally and financially.

It has always been just the two of us, so seeing him in pain and struggling has been difficult to say the least. I would do anything for my dad to be happy and healthy again.

Starting this GoFundMe is the only way I can think of to help and support him, like he has done for me my entire life.
