As some of you may know, Dawson was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 8 months old. This past week he was admitted into the hopital for seizures that were unable to be controlled even with emergency medicine.
Although they have been here before, this time they need a little more support and a lot more prayers. Over the past few days, Dawson has gone through IVs, MRIs, EEGs, and a spinal tap. He is unable to eat on his own which has caused him to lose 12 lbs. As Brandie and Dustin sit by his side, they do their best to keep their spirits up. They will never say it or show it, but they are drained. Not only emotional, but financially.
I know many of you feel helpless and are asking for a way to help. Even with insurance, the medical bills from the countless hospital visits have become a silent burden. I know helping them financially will help ease a small part of that.
I've started this page because they are truly deserving. They are grateful for every blessing God has given, for His mercy, and for the truly exceptional team of doctors, nurses, and staff at the hospital. Brandie and Dustin are exceptional parents, staying strong as they watch their brave little boy go through so much. Their strength through their struggles and sacrifices is inspiring.
