My husband, Chris Townsend, passed away on 3/2/23 from complications that resulted after an unexpected cardiac arrest. His biggest passion was coaching youth sports and that was his way of giving back to his community. Chris taught the kids sports but, more importantly, he taught them about life and how to be a good person. If kid’s families could not afford to play, Chris would donate money to help them. In addition, annually, he got so excited to provide college scholarships for kids in need.

All funds received will be given to help kids play sports and pay for their college education. I can’t think of a better way to honor Chris’ incredible legacy.
