As many of you know my grandmother has only a couple weeks left until she passes the doctors are saying. This couldn't be any harder as she is the only family I have left besides my brother, my mom died last year and I was left with the task all while grieving her passing. My grandmother raised my brother and me so this is even more heartbreaking. This has really came on very quickly yes her health has been declining but after the doctors told her she has cancer she has given up which has exasperated her symptoms and overall health. I have been taking care of my grandmother for well over 10 years in and out of employment due to being her care giver, putting my life on hold to get her back into better health from almost dying from a bad salmonella infection about 7 years ago which damaged her heart and i had to take her through full therapy sessions for her heart and body and many doctors appointments that followed. I aided to her for her knee and hip replacement that went bad requiring again many doctors and therapy appointments and not to mention the two times she almost died due to Pneumonia which later required several respiratory therapy visits for months at a time.

I thought this was just one of those routines a little speed bump but she has given up and doesn't care to live anymore she is on high doses of medication that is keeping her bed bound and sedated aiding in her end of life care. I have watched my daughter struggle with this change as her and my grandmother have always been so close. I have ignored the signs and honestly did not prepare for this life change that also effects my life along with my children's well-being. I have a newborn son barely 3 months old and I am working to get a WFH job to be abke yo juggle this drastic financial change while grieving and enjoying my newborn.

My grandmother would never let me pay for a simple life insurance plan for her death nor did she or myself have any savings to deal with this quick change. I have as we have taken over the family home and those bills as well with home owners Tax and now needing to find a work from home position all white grieving my grandma. I would like to do all I can for a farewell to my grandma as she deserves it for being such an amazing woman!

I am hoping to raise 6,000 to assist with off setting the financial issues we unfortunately have in front of us while mourning her passing. I hope to raise the money before so we don't have to worry about it in the moment. Thank you for all the love and well wishes Brittney
