Hello, my name is Jake Kasper and I would humbly ask for your support. I was born with cystic fibrosis and recieved a lung transplant 2015. In 2022 I was diagnosed with colon cancer as a result of taking anti-rejection drugs. I successfully completed recovery from surgery and was starting chemo when my kidneys failed from the chemo and also years of anti-rejection meds. I am not eligible for a kidney transplant until I am 5 years cancer free. I am currently about 3 years cancer free. My transplant center is St. Joseph's Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. I currently live in North Dakota. I am unable to work because I have dialysis four days a week. I am getting disability due to to end stage renal disease. My wife, Kristyn, is currently the only person employed in our household and I thank God for her love and support daily, My transplant doctors have requested that I visit them every six months for a regular checkup, but during these trying financial times, we are unable to make ends meet and still pay for a plane ticket to go to my appointment.
