This Christmas is so different for all of us, but it is heart breaking for one of our families.
Tyler Palmowski is a grade 8 student battling cancer for the second time.
The school and School Council have started a Go Fund Me page to raise funds for Tyler and his family.
Please consider a donation to this family and send many prayers to Tyler!

March 25/2020
Tyler’s biopsy results came back. It is cancerous, it is DIPG. We are heartbroken. I had held on to hope that it wasn’t and that the doctors were wrong this time, but my world shattered yesterday morning hearing those words. I feel hopeless and horrible that I can’t fix this, that I can’t protect him from this.
Why does he have to go through cancer twice... and this one has no cure known yet.
Tyler keeps telling me not to worry that he is going to beat this again. I can’t bear to tell him what type of cancer he has. He knows what
DIPG does. I need him to fight.
We are not giving up. We need a miracle.
October 30/2020
Tyler has been more tired throughout the day. Small activities during the day tire him out. We are still continuing to work on his bucket list, but it’s just been hard with COVID and all the restrictions to do any travel. Until then we have been having lots of family nights with games and movies.
November 15/2020
Tyler’s last MRI showed that the tumor has grown and there are more growths.
Tyler’s dad Luke needs to be home with the family more than ever. Tyler is still in fight-mode, so treatment options are still open.
Money raised will go directly to the family for specialized equipment for Tyler and to off-set the cost of living for the family, since Luke has taken a leave from work.
