I am currently a sophomore in college majoring in Psychology and Spanish. All my life I've loved helping others and have decided to turn that passion into a career. My focus is on social work and possibly teaching/translating Spanish.
UMKC is a really great school and I've come to love Kansas City, the environment, the classes, and of course the friends I've made. Recently, unforeseen financial burdens have struck hard in my life and I fear that I will not be able to continue my education without help from all of you. I couldn't bear to give up UMKC, my friends, the environment I have here, being a Supplemental Instruction Leader, and basically my life.
Originally I was afraid to make this GoFundMe page because of pride and fear that no one would understand how I feel but sometimes you have to conquer those fears. Any amount would be a great help and I would really appreciate it. Continuing my education by any means necessary is the most important thing in my life right now. I thank each of you in advance for your contributions.
