While visiting relatives in Canada, Roger and Jen, who live in Ireland, decided to take their boys, Ben and Charlie, to see the mountains.  Tragically, while on their way, they were involved in a serious collision with a gravel truck near Beiseker, AB.  Roger and Charlie remain in hospital.  Charlie has progressed swiftly physically and may be discharged from hospital within next week. Roger is in hospital with serious head and chest injuries. Prognosis unknown but it's likely to be a long road for recovery.


My name is Amy Shepherd, I am married to Jen's cousin, Kelly.  We live in Humboldt, SK and started this campaign to help out our family in what way we could. We are raising this money to support the Hamill family through this time.  All funds are going directly to Jen and Roger to help cover the costs of a long unexpected stay far away from friends and family.   Although they are able to return home in the near future, it is still unknown how long Roger's complete recovery will take.
