My dad, David, suffered a devastating loss late last night in Kamiah, ID.  He lost his home and the majority of all his belonging in a fire last night.  The most heartbreaking part is that his two beloved puppies, Charlie and Sandie, did not survive.  My dad is shattered by this loss as they were his babies. As my dad lived in a trailer, he does not have homeowners insurance to replace his home or his belongings.  He is going to have to replace everything, his home, his clothing, his bedding, his dishes, his furniture, tolietries, food... All this during the cold of winter.  At 68 years old, my dad is retired and lives on a fixed income.  This loss is devastating on so many levels.
