Help us lay our beautiful mother to rest.

Hi friends and family. My name is Andrea, many of you know me as Aidita’s daughter. I along with my brothers are reaching out to our friends, family, and community during this incredibly difficult time as we lay our beloved mother, Aida Rivera, to rest. Known by many as Aidita, Tita, Aida, Titi, or Wela, she was a shining light in the lives of everyone she met. Aida was one of the kindest people you could ever know—someone who would give you her last and love you unconditionally.

She had a true passion for life, finding joy in even the smallest moments. Whether it was dancing, acting in plays, or caring for animals, Aida embraced everything with an open heart. But above all, she loved to sing. She took every opportunity to share her beautiful voice, spreading happiness wherever she went.

Above all else, Aida cherished her children—Carlos, Christian, and Andrea—and her grandchildren—Joann, Emma, and her newest granddaughter, due in early August. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she poured herself into making sure we always felt supported and deeply loved.

Her passing was completely unexpected, and we are now left with the overwhelming responsibility of covering funeral costs and arranging a celebration of life that truly reflects the amazing person she was. We humbly ask for any support you can offer during this challenging time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us give my mom the farewell she deserves.
