I never thought I would have to ask for help, but sometimes you have to adapt your plans. We live in the center of the island in Grand Isle, LA and own an RV Park.. I have a shop on the property where I am able to showcase my artwork and sculptures for sake along with commercial printing machines for custom t-shirts and signs. The island was my oasis of peace. After Hurricane Ida totaled our home and business with raging flood waters and gauge breaking wind speed, we were heartbroken for ourselves and deeply saddened for our guests and our campers who have made this their second home. Although you do the right thing, pay high priced insurance, that isn't enough when you find out they deny your coverage when needed. We lost all personal belongings, truck, and equipment. We lost everything. I know everyone is hurting financially right now. Any amount you donate, even one dollar, is greatly appreciated.
