CT ATTACK Fundraiser

The CT ATTACK was founded in 2013 with a goal of helping players of all ages and backgrounds to pursue their dreams of playing basketball at a variety of different levels. Our program prides itself not only on developing our players to  become the best basketball player they can be, but the best teammates, leaders and people that they can be. We use the game of basketball to teach lifelong lessons that got far beyond the basketball court.

With the continued rising costs for gyms, uniforms and tournaments it is not cheap to play AAU basketball. This can make things difficult for families and players to afford the AAU fees in order to play. With players from a variety of different backgrounds we pride ourselves on providing opportunities for any player who wants to join the ATTACK family.

 In a traditional year we hold a variety of different in person fundraisers to help cover costs for gyms, tournaments, uniforms, as well as scholarships for athletes who do not have the financial means to pay to play. Unfortunately, COVID-19 did not allow us the opportunity to host these events this year. Therefore, we decided to pivot (no pun intended haha) to find other ways to help provide our athletes the best experience possible. We are asking for donations to help support our program and players this season.  Any bit helps!

ATTACK – it’s not a mascot, it’s a mindset. Our athletes are fierce competitors that honor the game, play with integrity and compete at the highest levels. 

We play hard and ATTACK both ends of the court. We approach each possession with purpose and unity. No matter what the game presents, we ATTACK – tough opponents, pressure situations, uphill battles…we embrace challenge and turn adversity into opportunity. We never back down. 

Even better, we learn to ATTACK challenge on the court so that when we encounter adversity in life we approach it with the same mentality – ATTACK, push through, be resilient, find a way to make it happen. 

We help athletes ATTACK personal limitations such as fear, frustration, uncertainty and doubt through our commitment to leadership development. 

Together we ATTACK social injustice. Through participation in community service we instill the values of giving back, problem solving and serving others. 

The greatest opportunities in sport are the lessons we learn through them, and the Connecticut ATTACK is committed to growing our athletes into Champions on the court and in life.
