Getting up fast from bed, and later go on a run, is the ideal morning to some people… but me.
Hi Im Penelope Vazquez Herrera, and Im one of the few persons in Tampico Mexico, who have pulmonary arterial hypertension.
It hasn’t been easy to live with this disease but either way I haven't given up.
Living with PAH doesn’t allow me to run, walk long distances, lets not even talk about doing exercise or something as simple as make my bed, I need oxygen most of the time im at home, mostly during nights.
When I was diagnosing with it 15 years ago, I was 18 at the time, they gave me low expectations, but my will to live was bigger than any obstacle.
Unfortunately, my health has been getting worst over the years, and today they have discovered that because the PAH and the treatments I get for it, I have a insufficiency in the mitral and tricuspid valves of my hearth to which I need and operation so they can put a device that can help the hearth do its function correctly otherwise its just matter of time. I really need your help to raise the fund my heart need. The goal is to raise 550,000 pesos or 30, 000 dlls. I will be grateful with you from the bottom of my hearth.

CUANDO ME LO DIAGNOSTICARON HACE 15 ANOS A LOS 18 ANOS ME DABAN POCAS ESPECTATIVAS DE VIDA, PERO MIS GANAS DE VIVIR SON MAS GRANDES QUE CUALQUIER OBSTACULO. DESGRACIADAMENTE MI ENFERMEDAD HA AVANZADO Y HOY EN DIA ME HAN DETECTADO INSUFICIENCIA DE LAS VÁLVULAS MITRAL Y TRICUSPIDE, POR TAL RAZÓN NECESITO UN CATETERISMO CARDIACO PARA COLOCAR UNOS DISPOSITIVOS EN LAS VÁLVULAS Y ASI MEJORAR UN POCO MÁS MI CALIDAD DE VIDA, YA QUE HASTA AHORA NO SE HA ENCONTRADO LA CURA ARA LA HAP Y. ASI SEGUIR EN LA LUCHA.MI CONDICION ME HA PERMITIDO SER PORTAVOZ DE LOS QUE PADECEMOS ESTA POCO COMUN ENFERMEDAD.
