Due to COVID-19 in 2020, our season was cut short, and aspirations for a championship season were ended abruptly. However, with a new team and coaching staff, San Marcos has once again proved it’s a nationally revered program receiving votes weekly to be placed in the top 25 poll in the country. Regardless of much uncertainty, we will face a demanding schedule with offensive firepower and anchoring defensive leadership.

Entering the season, coach Matt Lizotte, Tyler Jones, and Wyatt Ehrhardt will instill a foundational understanding of the game and the value of dedication and teamwork to prepare them for the grueling lacrosse season and beyond.

 

As we continue bringing in top-tier players from here in Southern California and across North America, my coaching staff will ensure we develop our young men to their full potential both on and off the field. Our team culture represents a brotherhood, where we maintain principles of discipline and respect towards one another and the community.

 

We are most excited for this season as we bring in an extremely talented group with unyielding potential for success. We're looking forward to a fun and exciting season!

We will be traveling to Tucson, Arizona, for the Southern Lacrosse Conference Championship during the upcoming season. Depending on the outcome, we are then looking to head to Round Rock, Texas, for the MCLA Nationals May 9th-14th.

Our players’ safety is my #1 priority, so to ensure we can travel safely and efficiently, we’re asking for your help.

 

As many of you know, our student-athletes cover most of the costs associated with playing collegiate lacrosse, and all these resources and opportunities have taken a tremendous financial commitment, both from them and from many of you. So, with great humility and appreciation, I ask for your support as we attempt to cover our travel costs for the 2022 season by raising $6,000.
