Friends and Family,
I need your help with this fundraiser to support an international student-athlete at Arkansas State University who is very close to our family. He is one semester away from graduating this summer.
He is a dedicated rugby player with professional-level potential, a strong student, and a young man who has done everything right. He balances demanding training, academics, and leadership responsibilities on campus. He currently serves as a Resident Assistant and works in the International Student Office, giving back to the university that welcomed him.
Because of the restrictions of his student visa, he is not allowed to work off campus, which limits his ability to cover unexpected financial gaps. Despite careful planning, his funding has come up short for this final semester.
To remain enrolled and graduate, $5,500 is needed to cover the remaining university costs.
This is not a long-term request—just a bridge to the finish line.
Anyone who understands rugby knows how rare it is to find someone with this level of discipline, work ethic, and character. His goal is to remain in the U.S. after graduation and pursue professional rugby, continuing to contribute to the sport and the community that has already invested in him.
If even a small group steps in—233 people contributing $24 each—this entire gap can be closed and a deserving student can finish what he started.
No amount is too small. Every contribution helps ensure that hard work, commitment, and integrity are rewarded—not cut short by circumstance.
Thank you for supporting student-athletes, international students, and the growth of rugby in the U.S. All funds collected will go directly to him. I truly appreciate anything you are able to give.
Very Respectfully,
Jose
