For the love of Joe!

Soulard School Staff and Families are collecting funds for our beloved Aftercare Coordinator and Pre-K support teacher, Joe Ploch. On November 15th, Joe underwent an emergency surgery on his brain. The surgery went well. In addition to the surgery, Joe was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Joe is strong and says he isn't feeling many symptoms. His doctors have said while this isn't curable, it is treatable. They are very optimistic about the success of his treatments, which will begin next week.

In addition to being a member of our staff since 2019, Joe is a long time Soulard School parent. He is the father of Verona and Saxon, both Soulard School alumni, Topez (4th grade), and Maggie (2nd grade). Joe has always been an active member of our community both as a parent and a staff member.

Our donations will go directly to Joe and his family to support them and their costs during this time of treatment and recovery.
