Jorge Nunez's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Family and friends,
As I'm sure most of you are aware there was a recent emergency in our family. On December 28, 2014 our father Jorge Nunez, suffered a stroke. As the result of this stroke he has been staying at the Whittier Rehab facility, undergoing major physical therapy, occupational therapy and group therapy. We are patiently awaiting for his return home. But at this time he is unable to walk nor use his left arm due to muscle weakness/lack of control, this is something that can't be fixed with surgery just with God's help, time and therapy. Despite this, he makes progress everyday, and his strength and perseverance continues to amaze us.
While in the hospital, doctors discovered that his diabetes had lead to his kidneys not functioning the way they should. His left side of his heart is not getting enough blood flow and they fear that there could be a clogged artery.
Our father, our family and our friends are trying to maintain a positive outlook on this tragic situation. As hospital bills have a tendency to spiral out of control, and as Jorge faces a long road to recovery that will prevent him from working for many months, perhaps years, contributions from those that care would help alleviate some of the stress that Jorge and his family will face in the year ahead. Any and all donations are welcome, along with prayers.
Our father has worked his entire life to make our dreams come true and his...now it's our turn to watch over him and help him in his road of recovery. Although it has been painful to see our dad, Jorge like this, we know that he will not give up this fight.
We thank you all in advance for your prayers, positive thoughts and donations. We sincerely love you.
