The MA Design Degree Show launches the careers of young designers through the unveiling of innovative projects in Furniture, Jewellery, and Ceramics. It is the culmination of two years of research and analysis manifested in highly crafted objects that contribute to a wider design discourse. Collectively, our work speaks to sustainable practice, ethical manufacturing, emergent technologies, changing global markets, and many other pressing issues.
The quality of the Degree Show is paramount in conveying the quality of design we are engaged in. A strong display will properly articulate the intentions and value of the collections presented. It is with this in mind that we ask for your help in funding the show, so that the collective space and marketing materials accurately represent our ambitions. Money raised will be used for building out the exhibition space, for buying paint, brushes and tape, for purchasing vinyl stickers for text, designing and printing catalogues, and much more.
In preparation for the professional industry, we value the significance of first impressions. Each year, approximately 30,000 visitors come to the show in search of inspiration, innovation, and talent. To launch our professional careers the Degree Show needs to convey the sophistication and rigour of our practices, and the creative, critical perspectives from which we design. Thank you for helping us take the first step, your generosity is greatly appreciated, and we look forward sharing our practice with you in June.
