Stormy's Go Fund Me

Donation protected
To our beautiful friends and community,

As we all know, life and the cost of living lately is hard. Even with two working parents, life can be challenging! Now let’s throw into the mix (unexpected) medical bills, two kids under four, a mortgage and all the everyday stressors, whilst fighting the biggest health battle of your life! It's a scary thought that most of us can’t even comprehend.

But typically on-brand for Stormy and Bianca, they still remain the most positive & caring people, even staring down the barrel of the hardest period of their life. With their youngest, Rocco, only just turning one, Stormy and Bianca should be living the dream life that they have worked so hard to achieve with their two beautiful kids. Instead, they are preparing for the hardest battle of their lives with Josh's upcoming treatment plan.

The Journey So Far...

Three weeks ago, Stormy went to ER for emergency surgery for what we all thought was appendicitis. What was supposed to be a routine hour-long surgery, turned into a four-hour-long procedure to not remove his appendix, but to remove a ruptured tumour from his bowel. After 6 days in the hospital recovering, results came back confirming that the tumour was Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

At the moment, we don't have the final staging on the disease, but we do know that what we originally thought was Burkitt Lymphoma, which would have resulted in approx 3 rounds of chemo over a 9-week period, has unfortunately been confirmed as High-Grade B Cell Lymphoma and will instead require 6 sessions every 21 days for at least 6 months. In typical Stormy fashion, he is positive, ready to fight, and is focusing on the good news, which is that it is centralized and hasn't spread!

How Can We Help?

Stormy has had a significant impact on all our lives and the overwhelming outreach of support from our community has been amazing so far. Though we can’t fix this for them, we hope to be able to alleviate any financial stressors and pressures and help cover some costs for this family.

As you all know, the Reids are the last family to ask for help but are always the first to offer it, so this is our opportunity to show our love and support for them in their time of need. Words can't explain how much your support is appreciated.

Please note all donations in full will be provided to the Reids to support them during this chemotherapy.
