Help Jade Recover & Heal

Donation protected
Many of you have been following Jade's health issues for years. The moment she told me in January that her breast implants could be the cause of all her issues, my heart just broke for her and her family!  The look of fear in her face, the worry in her eyes, I just knew I had to do this for her. She told me that her Explant surgery would not be covered by insurance. That they would need to find a way to come up with almost $7,000 to move forward! $7K to hopefully get her life back. That even though hundreds of thousands of women are walking In her shoes, there is currently not a CPT code for surgeons to bill insurance companies for breast implant illness!!
I wanted to send this the minute she told me, but she asked me to wait. That she needed to find peace within herself before she could tell the world.
They put the surgery on a credit card, and moved forward. As the days went on, Jade found peace within herself. She told her story to her loved ones first until she was ready to share it on social media with everybody who has been cheering her on for years.
Now I am here to ask you for your help. If you haven't read Jade's story please do. I put it in words below, the best I could. She has been drowning in medical bills for years. Let's come together and help her family get this debt off their plate so they can move forward with Jade's health and without this ridiculous bill hanging over their heads!! Below is her story if you haven't heard it. It's gut wrenching! I have watched her suffer for many years, her family watching their mother and wife become somebody they didn't know....

Jade is a loving wife and mother of two. This past year has been tough for everyone, but Jade has had several medical trials and tribulations that rocked the Schlosberg family from 2015 until present day, progressing significantly as time past. In 2015, after two children, Jade made the decision to undergo breast augmentation. A sensitive subject for her always, never mind the aftermath of having two children. With support of Dan, her husband, the procedure went forward. The professionals assured them there was no chance of leakage due to a new design. Furthermore, that once Jade was out of the surgical phase, the risk of infection, bleeding, and capsular contracture would almost be nonexistent and she would be smooth sailing from that point on.
An so she sailed on. Jade felt content. Satisfied. Her confidence grew and she felt like she could wear clothes that she couldn’t prior. Dan loved them too! (expected right?) And so she became accustomed to them. Life went on. Within a short amount of time, Jade started to feel off. It began with headaches, vision issues, and neck issues. Her hormones and endometriosis went rampant which eventually led to surgery. Between 2016 and 2017 she had blood clots, her ovary’s removed, a hysterectomy, and severe damage to her bladder nerves. Her body was struggling to heal. She was unfortunate and only had a few good months in-between all of this until the next chapter began.
Jade started to have digestive problems among other things; A strange pain in her ribs, intolerance to foods, constant nausea, constipation and diarrhea. The conclusion of these symptoms resulted in another surgery in 2018- gallbladder removal. This in-turn did not help, but made her situation much worse. Jade couldn’t eat and what she could manage to eat would not stay down for too long. This turned into tests and more tests to only hear from the Doctor this was because she didn’t have a gallbladder anymore. Migraines started again and Jade felt like she was rapidly aging. Joint pain in every part of her body. She was constantly in and out of emergency rooms with severe pain and/or dehydration with no new information regarding her medical affairs. Then, Jade’s body took a turn for the worse in 2019. She developed a urinary tract infection. Solution? Jade was put on antibiotic after antibiotic. That led her into 2020 with an entire new issue, a multi-drug resistant infection while still battling her previous medical issues. Doubt and frustration overwhelmed Jade as she wondered why? Why wasn’t her urinary device working? Why won’t her body fight these infections? Why? The next step suggested from the Doctor was to cut her bladder in half to get rid of the infection. Devine intervention nipped that idea in the bud and THANK GOD!
It progressively got worse and she was sent to an infectious disease specialist. The antibiotics and IV fluids were constant and new symptoms began to emerge. She began to deal with dizziness, vertigo, blood pressure problems, severe nausea, rapid weight loss, and told she was severely malnourished.. Jade was constantly dehydrated, falling, having difficulty walking, cramping, and muscle spasms, numbness/tingling in her legs, sleep deprivation, anxiety, heart palpitations, and her hair even falling out. Jade was tested for lyme disease and told she may have MS and was then sent to a Neurologist.
Test after test, she was then diagnosed with a rare chronic neurological disease called CIDP, a neurological autoimmune disease that targets the body’s nerves. Immediately Jade went through a week long IVIG infusion process that maybe made Jade feel better for a week. Several drugs later, it was suggested to undergo surgery again, to put the bladder device back in because there were improvements in her nerve readings. The surgery took place in December to replace her nerve stimulator for her bladder. Finally, the Schlosberg’s had faith that the suffering would come to an end… It did not.
January 2021 Jade went to see a Doctor at Emory to only leave there with another autoimmune diagnosis, Dysautonomia. It is a dysfunction of the nerves that regulate non voluntary body functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, bladder function, digestion and sweating. This was actually a blessing in disguise believe it or not.
Upon researching the new diagnosis, Jade came across the reasoning for such a diagnosis. “Can result in various types of trauma- especially trauma to the head and chest, including surgical trauma. It has been reported to occur after breast implant surgery.” The LIGHT BULB MOMENT!!  Jade had Breast Implant Illness. She was being poisoned. Her body attacking the “foreign invader” to the point in which it was killing herself, literally!!!  They quickly acted and upon meeting an explant surgeon she was told that she was borderline too unhealthy to be operated on. It was a gamble. A risk. Either make the hardest decision of her life (because what if?!) or die.
At this point it was a no-brainer, emotional and scared, they moved forward with the surgery.

I am happy to say she is 2 weeks post explant surgery! And while there were a few hiccups during week 1, she is now doing phenomenal!! Many of her issues completely GONE already!! Her body was being poisoned!! I have not seen her look so healthy in such a very long time!! I am in shock! And to know, not a single doctor in this entire 6 year journey suggested it may be her implants!
The Schlosberg family have been on an emotional rollercoaster for SIX years now. This GoFundMe was created to help alleviate a small fraction of the Schlosberg’s financial burden that has accrued over the past 6 years. Jade continued to work this entire time, some days in a hospital bed, while still raising their two beautiful daughters Sadie and Tessa... I seriously don't know how she did it!! She's an amazing friend, wife and mother and would do anything to help somebody else!!
Now let's help her and her family!  If you are able and willing, please help the Schlosberg family! Anything will help them and they are extremely grateful for all the love and support surrounding them!! Thank you!!
