My sister Angela & her cancer journey

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Colleen Murphy of Halifax, Nova Scotia , my sister who just turned 65 found out on her Birthday she had Small Cell Carcinoma stage 4. Angela currently lives in Yorkton Saskatchewan, she has an 5 hr round trip, so she needs money for gas, food and after Christmas lodging and any other help she may need along the way. Angela is currently taking this one day at a time, and the doctors are extremely hopeful. Angela has had two treatments, the first made her lose her hair, well most of it, she had to cut off her long hair that was left, I am asking for help because she is on disability, her two daughters have jobs and four kids each to take care of, I just want to try and get a little help for Angela so she doesn’t have to worry about financial issues, so she can focus on beating the Cancer. I asked her if there was anything she would like to do and she said spend a weekend away with her two girls, and get nails done with her granddaughters Bailey & Casey . The rest are boys, so she would like to take them out for a supper and spend time with them ! Like I have said Angela is currently having an awesome attitude towards this journey. Which is a hard one, but I tell her you got this, even though we are all living across Canada we are still beside her supporting her in every way we can. Angela grew up in different parts of Halifax, in junior high she moved to Armdale until she got married, she then moved to Ontario, Halifax and then sask with her daughters and grandchildren, she currently is single and lives in a seniors complex in Yorkton Sask. This isn’t Angela’s first battle to beat, in her early twenties she was in a drunk driving crash and almost lost her life, she fought the battle and won. Our mother Geraldine Dedrick then started MADD Halifax. We all helped with that and after a four month stay in hospital she came home and healed, got married and had the girls. So I know deep in my heart ❤️ she will give this journey threw cancer a huge fight, and of course win. Even if you can donate just a little everything adds up. I want to say thank you in advance for your kindness………if you can be anything in this world be KIND❤️
