Dearest Friends and family, I come before you to humbly ask for any assistance you can provide.

I've been off work since January 7th due to an injury. Workers' comp closed the case on Feb 4th; however, my short-term disability has denied my claim. I'm currently appealing this decision; however, if you've dealt with the legal system, it's taking much longer than I hoped.

I've exhausted my savings and now my checking. I'm broke. I've had no income since the second week of February. I'm unable to return to work; my knees are shot, and my only solution is to have total knee replacements. This again is a process.

If you truly know me, then you know I've worked hard all my life taking care of others, and it humbles me greatly to now ask for help. I appreciate any help you can give.
