Hi there, I’ve never done anything like this before, never been in this position before either. My wife is waiting for her pre-transplant work-up; it’s happening on the 13th and 14th in Seattle. She needs this work-up to get placed on the transplant list. The doctors told us she has a very low probability of surviving 90 days, and that is how they gauge the importance of getting the work-up done and getting her on the list.

This last medevac to Anchorage, I was left helpless with no help with insurance due to paperwork that was messed up from the transferring hospital. It was definitely a terrible experience enough on its own, next to having basic needs being denied as well. So, I don’t want to go through that again. I do work full-time, but these trips do put a strain on us. I appreciate anyone that helps, but I’d appreciate the prayers for my wife more than anything. Much love from my family to yours.
