Donation protected
My name is Crystal. A couple of people said they wanted to start a fund for me, but I felt bad about it so I declined. I've been a hard worker all of my life, and have a hard time asking for help. Well now I have run out of options.
I've had several strokes caused from a rare blood disease that makes my blood thick like tar. It's left me with a blood clot: in my kidney, lung and heart. Two clots at the base of my skull and my aorta is a complete strand of clots.
I'm on my 3rd round of chemotherapy and am no longer able to work, due to the strokes, as some days everything works great but I have no energy, and the days I have energy, nothing works. My family and friends have helped me as much as they possibly could.
I applied for Social Security starting in 2012 (there is a list of 20 medical issues that qualify you, of the 20, I have 16...documented and have doctor's statements to back it all up) yet they keep turning me down. Supposedly I will know more in April, and hopefully that is when they will finally approve me. But I need to get thru the next 2 months.
The friend that I've been staying with and who has been helping me, was trying to help me get to the bathroom and blew his knee out, so now he is unable to work right now, as well. We have sold what we could to get by, there is nothing else left. I am swallowing my pride and asking for help.
My hope is that anyone reading this will extend a hand up, (not a hand out), as I just need a little help right now. The bills (rent, utilities, food and gas) for 2 months is $3000.
You can ask, anyone who knows me...I've always been there for anyone in need. And regardless if I get help or not, I will continue to do so, to the best of my abilities. I don't always get a chance to "pay people back", but I ALWAYS "pay it forward". So if you choose to help me get thru this tight time, 1) I thank you from the deepest parts of my heart and 2) once I am able to do so, whatever amount that is gifted to me, will be paid forward and I will extend my hand up to another who is in need. So in the long run, your donation will keep paying even after this plea is finished.
I don't feel that my needs outweigh anyone elses, or that I am more deserving than another...I simply have run out of ideas.
Thank you for your time and attention and an even bigger thank you if you choose to help.
Sending Love, Light and Laughter to you and yours
