**UPDATE**
As of today 03/04/24, Crystal has had a successful first harvest of her stem cells for her later stem cell transplant at the end of the month of March. Crystal will need to go through at least one more harvest of her stem cells for her later transplant. In regard to her transplant, Crystal will be in the hospital for weeks following the transplant as she has to recover and build a new immune system. Following her stay at the hospital, Crystal needs lots of time to recover at home and adjust. Crystal needs all the love and support anyone can give her at this time as this entire process is hard on her mental health and her physical health.
2023:
As of around seven months ago my mother started having severe back pain and didn’t know what it was. She thought that maybe a visit to the chiropractor would help and it did help subside the pain for a little bit. One day the pain was too much to bare and she received an X-ray showing lesions on her spine. After a biopsy of one of the lesions and not to short after, a bone marrow biopsy, Crystal was diagnosed with a very rare form of blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma. For this cancer, as of this moment, there is no cure for Multiple Myeloma but it is treatable. Crystal has started chemotherapy and in a few months, she will go through a stem cell transplant to put her into remission for a bit but this cancer will come back. Your donations will go to paying for Crystal’s extensive medical bills and treatments. We ask that you keep Crystal in your prayers and positive thoughts❤️
