I've had uterine bleeding since August 2023. It led me to go to the hospital due to feeling dizzy and faint, it was there that I discovered my Hemoglobin was at a 6. I needed two units of blood. I continued to bleed after receiving that transfusion. I attempted to see a physician that the hospital recommended but due to my insurance I couldn't see her again. I was given hormones for 14 days, afterwards. I started bleeding again and needed another transfusion. I was told that I need a biopsy and that the things they saw on my trasvaginal ultrasound was concerning. Due to my insurance there's a wait to see the specialist that I need to see. I'm attempting to come up with funds to go towards getting to see that specialist without the referral. Some days I feel hopeless. I can't work and help support my family. I'm bedridden in constant pain. Waiting for an appointment that might not be scheduled for another month. While I bleed. Soon I'll end up going back to the ER for another transfusion. And then they'll send me home again to bleed. The emergency room doctors suspect a lot of things. Hyperplasia, polyps, and Andenmyosis.
